Constance, I am WAITING TO EXHALE from the BEAUTY of the Colour Pencil work. I am new to colour pencil and unfamiliar with Bristol vellum. Is that what gives this piece its “ sugary quality”? It has a decidedly classical FEEL for me ...so elegantly offered...and this could be touched with frost in an early Autumn walk about the vineyard... SO romantically felt. I will return ...v... L/F

Thanks very much, Laurel. I am flattered by your very articulate praise for my wild grapes. These grapes were all over my property every year. I painted them a long time ago and cannot remember precisely how I got this effect. Bristol Vellum is excellent for color pencil work as it is very smooth. It even comes in extra smooth.
